In hoteling, workers may schedule and reserve a specific desk/workstation/office – whatever is available in the office. Hoteling requires a reservation system, an app or booking software to find a desk before employees come to the office or as they arrive. In a hoteling concept, workstations are not assigned to specific employees, but when compared to simple “hot desking”, hoteling gives more freedom for employees to choose the location where they work.
Whether we like it or not, a change has come to the office workspace.
